Mobile Development Specialist – Flutter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead technical initiatives for mobile application development utilizing Flutter.

• Establish the architecture and standards for both Android and iOS applications.

• Create intricate features for e-commerce and mobile commerce experiences.

• Integrate with VTEX APIs including Catalog, Checkout, OMS, Pricing, Promotions, and Logistics.

• Engage in technical discussions with architects, Tech Leads, and Product Owners.

• Carry out code reviews and advocate for best practices in development.

• Ensure adherence to Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.

• Strive for enhancements in the application's performance, stability, and user experience.

• Design and execute synchronous and asynchronous integrations with microservices.

• Support strategies for observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Define strategies for automated testing and maintaining code quality.

• Oversee publishing, versioning, and distribution on both Android and iOS app stores.

• Mentor developers and offer technical guidance to the team.

• Perform impact analyses, refactoring, and architectural enhancements.

• Engage in technical planning and track product metrics.

• Act as the squad’s technical reference, influence architectural choices, and assist in the advancement of the mobile platform.

• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and quality of the applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Flutter and the Dart programming language.

• Extensive experience in mobile development for both Android and iOS platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of Clean Architecture principles.

• Strong understanding of layered architecture.

• Advanced skills in state management tools such as Bloc, Cubit, Provider, or Riverpod.

• Proficient in consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Expertise in publishing and managing applications on the App Store and Google Play.

• Advanced knowledge of Firebase services including Analytics, Messaging, Crashlytics, and Performance.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and widget testing methodologies.

• Proficient in Git and GitFlow workflows.

• Knowledgeable in CI/CD practices for mobile applications.

• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Familiar with mobile security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 authentication and JWT.

• Knowledge of design patterns and adherence to SOLID principles.

• Experience in application observability and monitoring techniques.

• Proficient in Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

• Familiar with mobile commerce and omnichannel user journeys.

• Experience with VTEX IO projects is a plus.

• Background in deploying e-commerce applications in production is advantageous.

• Knowledge of FastStore and headless commerce is beneficial.

• Experience with SAP, payment, and logistics integrations is an asset.

• Familiarity with Firebase Remote Config and A/B testing is a plus.

• Experience with hexagonal architecture is advantageous.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace is a plus.

• Familiarity with technologies like React, Next.js, or Node.js is beneficial.

• VTEX certification is an asset.

• Proficiency in Spanish for working on LATAM projects is a plus.

• Experience in migrating platforms to the VTEX Commerce Platform is advantageous.

• Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
