Mobile App Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product surfaces from inception to delivery, ensuring polished user experiences.

• Create mobile experiences for both iOS and Android platforms, taking into account interaction patterns, device ergonomics, touch targets, navigation, and constraints of smaller screens.

• Develop and deliver prototypes, experiments, and production-ready experiences utilizing AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.

• Identify areas of friction, enhance workflows, and refine product details.

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to produce high-quality product experiences.

• Engage with customers on a regular basis and leverage insights to guide product decisions.

• Elevate the quality of interaction design, visual aesthetics, motion, copy, and overall product craftsmanship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in designing, developing, and launching mobile applications that resonate with users.

• Solid grasp of mobile design principles and ergonomic considerations.

• Familiar with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design standards.

• A portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, and visual artistry.

• A curious mindset, open to exploring new concepts, questioning assumptions, and reimagining how AI influences user interaction with software.

• A product builder mentality, eager to manage experiences from the initial concept to ongoing enhancements.

• Interest in AI and enthusiasm for crafting products without established design patterns.

• A keen attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to enhancing the product, even in the absence of direct requests.
