Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Prediction – Autonomous Driving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive solutions for Prediction and AV stack utilizing cutting-edge ML techniques across various driving environments.

• Engage in applied research and development of innovative deep learning models, including end-to-end architectures.

• Formulate generalizable strategies to accommodate diverse Operational Design Domains (ODDs) and facilitate country/region expansion.

• Champion and prioritize data-driven development in collaboration with data collection and labeling teams.

• Focus on data acquisition and labeling while enhancing labeling efficiency.

• Utilize data simulation and augmentation techniques for extreme scenario handling.

• Transform solutions into products that fulfill safety, latency, and software robustness standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD with 6+ years of experience, MS with 10+ years, or BS (or equivalent experience) with 12+ years of substantial experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Practical experience in developing deep learning algorithms to address complex real-world challenges.

• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).

• Familiarity with data-driven development and collaboration with data and ground truth teams.

• Strong programming abilities in Python and/or C++.

• Demonstrated expertise in creating generalizable ML solutions for autonomous driving or robotics.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying DNN-based solutions on embedded platforms for real-time applications.

• Established proficiency in deep learning supported by technical publications in prominent conferences and journals.

• Knowledgeable in Transformers, BEV architectures, and E2E ML systems.
