This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Supervise a group of intermediate to advanced Field Service professionals.
• Organize, prioritize, and address challenges faced by seasoned teams.
• Evaluate escalated issues impacting the business and propose solutions.
• Oversee a skilled team in accordance with set programs and objectives.
• Engage with customers, gather feedback, and nurture relationships with key clients.
• Address high-profile customer complaints and develop improvement strategies.
• Mentor team members to meet operational objectives.
• Maintain training programs and audit/assessment processes while ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Act as the technical team leader and subject matter expert in systems administration for customer support needs.
• Conduct image quality assessments, manage data flows, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Track the health and status of equipment.
• Perform system administration duties as the initial responder to product-line challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in resolving technical issues with product and system knowledge.
• Capability to quickly and accurately assess situations and provide actionable, technically sound solutions to clients.
• Background in system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting data flows in complex distributed environments.
• Experience in ISR sensor planning and/or collection management.
• Familiarity with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) and/or national-level intelligence agencies.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months.
• An active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Integrity, reliability, and commitment in a team setting are preferred.
• Experience in creating/maintaining user accounts, monitoring system usage, installing applications and OS upgrades, and troubleshooting software is desired.
• Scripting experience in UNIX/Linux environments is preferred.
• Experience in Windows server support is desirable.
• Knowledge of virtual machine architectures is advantageous.
• Skills in imagery analysis within an intelligence context are beneficial.
• Familiarity with exploitation tools and techniques is advantageous.
• Experience in creating products from system image data is beneficial.
• Willingness to fulfill deployment requirements, including physical exams, immunizations, security certifications, and mandatory training.
• Flexibility for relocations, multi-shift work, and overtime with little or no notice is expected.
• Adherence to laws and regulations in deployment jurisdictions is necessary.
