Mid/Sr DevOps Engineer – Windows Environments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, execute, enhance, and rectify CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines.

• Transition enterprise workloads to cloud platforms by utilizing established migration frameworks, industry best practices, and organizational standards.

• Automate cloud deployments and construct CI/CD pipelines that support both cloud-native and cloud-hosted workloads.

• Offer technical expertise and assist in building organizational capabilities in cloud engineering and DevOps methodologies.

• Remain updated with the latest cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and automation tools.

• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams while taking responsibility for assigned projects.

• Recognize opportunities for ongoing process enhancement, automation, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in software development and DevOps engineering.

• Strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and modern DevOps practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English or higher is required.

• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and practices is advantageous.

• Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines for technologies such as Java and .NET.

• Proficient scripting skills in Groovy, Python, Java, Bash, JavaScript, Maven, and Ant.

• Strong working knowledge of Windows environments.

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker, including the ability to build and support enterprise CI/CD environments.

• Experience with DevOps and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and similar platforms.

• Knowledge of best practices in source code management, including branching, merging, and release strategies.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps and cloud security concepts.

• Familiarity with cloud services encompassing API management, application gateways, container platforms, messaging services, identity and access management, secrets management, application registrations, and object storage.

• Preference will be given to candidates with Microsoft Azure experience.

• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL query development.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving.
