Mid/Senior .NET Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop internal products that empower various business sectors.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to outline, plan, execute, and prioritize features.

• Oversee the complete feature lifecycle, from initial design to production monitoring.

• Ensure optimal availability and performance.

• Transform high-level business requirements into scalable technical specifications.

• Design and implement event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

• Create and maintain architectural diagrams and system documentation.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in .NET (C#), PostgreSQL/SQL Server, and REST APIs.

• Work collaboratively with FCamara and client teams across different time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building, deploying, and scaling distributed systems and high-traffic web applications.

• Strong expertise in .NET (C#).

• Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Proficiency in relational databases, including the optimization of complex queries and management of large-scale data sets.

• Practical experience in architecting background processing using Hangfire.

• Familiarity with event-driven systems utilizing Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

• Experience with automated testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of designing CI/CD pipelines.

• Professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese.

• Capability to convert complex business requirements into high-performance technical specifications.

• Necessary documentation for hiring in Portugal or Brazil.
