Mid/Senior-level Data Engineer – GoLang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Transform raw data into production-ready APIs, dashboards, and automated notifications.

• Gather high-throughput data from a variety of sources including relational databases, third-party and vendor APIs, flat files, blockchain nodes and indexers, as well as social and web text at scale.

• Create NLP pipelines for the extraction of entities and claims, classification, deduplication, and enhancement of unstructured and semi-structured text data.

• Provide support for case management, report generation, and data systems for intelligence portals.

• Collaborate with the Head of R&D, engineers, data scientists, and investigation teams to convert intelligence needs into scalable client-facing solutions.

• Contribute to the technical design and architecture through a well-documented and reasoned design process.

• Enhance system data quality and maintenance via versioning, validation, lineage, reconciliation, and freshness monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing backend services using Golang.

• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, including concurrency and testing.

• Experience with REST APIs and/or gRPC.

• Familiarity with working in AWS environments.

• Proficiency in messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

• Experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.

• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.

• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with Terraform.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Awareness of observability tools and practices.
