Mid/Senior ITOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance core IT and collaboration platforms such as JumpCloud, GSuite, Slack, Notion, and Remote, ensuring secure and efficient access for teams spread across the globe.

• Administer company-issued laptops and other devices, ensuring compliance with operating system configurations and adherence to IT and InfoSec policies.

• Spearhead and refine onboarding and offboarding procedures, guaranteeing prompt provisioning and deprovisioning of access and IT resources within cloud and SaaS environments.

• Take ownership of identity and access management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC), conducting regular access reviews to align with evolving security demands.

• Diagnose and resolve daily IT challenges—including access permissions and cloud networking tasks (such as VPCs, firewalls, routing rules, and IAM configurations)—focusing on reducing downtime for essential business teams.

• Engage in the rollout of platforms and tools, assisting in the implementation, testing, and support of new IT systems and policies.

• Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation of IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials to promote knowledge sharing and minimize dependency.

• Collaborate across departments with Platform, Security, and Delivery teams to identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools).

• Approach support and project tasks with a service-oriented attitude, proactively seeking to enhance workflows and prevent recurring issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting and configuring cloud-based IT infrastructures, particularly with SaaS tools and Google Workspace.

• Practical experience in access management and IAM configurations across cloud platforms (preferably GCP).

• Knowledge of basic to intermediate network operations, especially within the realm of cloud networking (e.g., GCP VPCs, IAM roles, and routing rules).

• Effective and clear communicator, comfortable collaborating with global teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Service-oriented approach with the capability to prioritize and address requests that affect critical business teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical and self-directed approach to troubleshooting.

• **Bonus**

• Extensive knowledge of Windows or Mac OS.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with endpoint security and basic InfoSec practices in a cloud-native setting.
