Mid/Senior AI LLM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Fine-tune open-weight large language models utilizing methods such as supervised fine-tuning (SFT), LoRA, QLoRA, DPO, and GRPO.

• Create and sustain training datasets along with model evaluation frameworks.

• Enhance conversational memory, ensure personality consistency, and improve the quality of long-running dialogues.

• Develop capabilities for multilingual conversations and group interaction behaviors.

• Identify model failures and optimize training data, prompts, and classifiers.

• Execute GPU-based training experiments, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate model performance.

• Deploy enhanced models into production, track results, and refine performance iteratively.

• Collaborate with the LLM Tech Lead, CTO, Product, Web, and DevOps teams to implement model enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in fine-tuning open-weight LLMs and deploying them in a production environment.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Practical experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face.

• Hands-on experience in GPU-based model training and debugging.

• Familiarity with supervised fine-tuning and parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques, including LoRA or QLoRA.

• Knowledge of preference optimization techniques such as DPO or GRPO.

• Capability to independently construct training datasets and model evaluation frameworks.

• Experience in developing consumer-facing AI products.

• Comfort in working with uncensored AI models, explicit adult/NSFW content, and sensitive moderation material.

• Ability to diagnose model behavioral issues and translate insights into measurable enhancements.
