Middle Python Developer, ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mali, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Become a part of one of two AI initiatives: ChatCPI, an assistant powered by LLM for intelligent search and question answering across extensive technical documentation, or a Knowledge Graph Platform aimed at organizing and connecting enterprise information for AI-driven applications.

• Design and execute features based on LLMs and RAG pipelines, ranging from data ingestion to answer generation.

• Develop and enhance retrieval systems utilizing vector embeddings and a combination of semantic and keyword search.

• Process, clean, and organize source information to boost the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated results.

• Assess model quality, experiment with innovative methodologies, and implement validated solutions into production.

• Collaborate closely with the team to incorporate AI components into the broader platform.

• Manage changes comprehensively, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Operate independently while proactively addressing blockers, scope inquiries, and technical trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in commercial software development.

• A minimum of 2 years working on AI/ML projects.

• Proficient in Python with practical implementation experience.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and contemporary AI technologies.

• Familiarity with RAG architecture, vector embeddings, and hybrid search techniques.

• Experience in information processing to enhance AI quality, including data preparation, chunking, metadata enrichment, and relevance tuning.

• Capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for tasks from design to deployment.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Experience with knowledge graphs or graph databases is a plus.

• A background in the telecommunications industry is advantageous.
