Middle Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on both frontend and backend functionalities.

• Partner with developers and marketers to ensure clarity in requirements.

• Identify areas for improvement, suggest enhancements, and refine QA processes.

• Execute basic API testing utilizing Postman.

• Write and execute straightforward SQL queries to verify data accuracy.

• Employ proxy tools for more in-depth request/response validation.

• Assist with mobile app regression testing as necessary.

• Take ownership of quality throughout the customer journey, from the landing page and registration to onboarding and analytics.

• Work with protocols, regulations, and third-party vendors.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, marketers, and external partners, frequently in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of manual QA experience with a focus on web applications.

• Strong understanding of test design methodologies.

• Practical experience in API testing and proficiency in Postman.

• Technical knowledge of HTML/CSS, client-server architecture, and fundamental debugging.

• Capability to write SQL queries to assess backend functionality.

• Proficient in using proxy tools like Charles or Fiddler.

• Excellent critical thinking and analytical capabilities.

• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently without micromanagement.

• Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) is advantageous.

• A desire to enhance QA workflows and processes is a plus.

• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted testing is beneficial.

• Prior experience in product-oriented companies or marketing-focused environments is a plus.
