Middle Frontend Developer – Pixi.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver slot games from concept to production release.

• Define frontend architecture and establish development standards across various projects.

• Make informed technical choices, conduct code reviews, and disseminate expertise within the team.

• Collaborate with Producers, Artists, and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

• Uphold scalable, maintainable, and reusable codebases through regular code reviews and shared best practices.

• Design and implement novel features, UI components, and in-game effects.

• Enhance the core framework, build tools, and asset pipelines.

• Analyze performance and debug issues across desktop, mobile, and WebGL platforms.

• Document processes and share insights with the team.

• Stay updated with contemporary frontend technologies and trends in iGaming.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in frontend development.

• A minimum of 1 year in developing HTML5 slot games.

• Proven experience in delivering multiple titles from start to finish through production cycles.

• Strong proficiency in Pixi.js, along with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, asynchronous programming, and rendering performance optimization.

• In-depth knowledge of Spine animations and asset management pipelines.

• Experience with or proficiency in Codex and WordCode is necessary.

• Fluent in English.

• Preferred: experience in game audio using Howler.js, Web Audio API, or similar technologies.

• Preferred: familiarity with build automation, CI/CD pipelines, or process optimization tools.

• Preferred: knowledge of iGaming specifics, including RNG logic, platform workflows, and integrations.

• Preferred: experience with GLSL/WebGL shaders for custom visual effects.

• Preferred: experience with Vue 3 or other modern UI frameworks.
