This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +3 more countries.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and associated solutions within Azure.
• Create, enhance, and troubleshoot intricate SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Support finance and billing systems by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Design and sustain data integration and ETL processes between operational systems and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Snowflake to facilitate reporting, analytics, and data management projects.
• Construct and uphold Azure-based data pipelines and data movement processes.
• Partner with software engineers, business stakeholders, and finance teams to comprehend and implement business requirements.
• Monitor database performance and proactively seek optimization opportunities.
• Engage in troubleshooting production issues and executing long-term resolutions.
• Contribute to data architecture and uphold database best practices.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Database Engineer, Database Developer, or similar.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Practical experience working with SQL Server in Azure environments.
• Strong background in developing and optimizing stored procedures.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Proficient SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience in data integration and ETL processes.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently and proactively within a small, agile team setting.
• Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory or other Azure data pipeline technologies.
• Preferred experience in logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, or supply chain sectors.
• Familiarity with finance, billing, invoicing, or revenue-related business processes is preferred.
• Preferred experience in supporting data-driven reporting and analytics solutions.
• Availability for overlap with US business hours, ideally until 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT.
