Mid-Level/Senior .NET Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain backend applications utilizing .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.

• Design and execute RESTful APIs emphasizing scalability, security, performance, and adherence to development best practices.

• Engage in defining technical solutions and architectural strategies in collaboration with the Technology team.

• Create and refine solutions based on microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Integrate with both internal and external systems, including platforms and services pertinent to the investment market.

• Identify and address complex issues through root cause analysis and the formulation of effective solutions.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of application architecture, performance, stability, and quality.

• Develop and maintain automated tests, including both unit and integration tests.

• Take part in code reviews, advocating for best practices and supporting the team’s technical development.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, and the technical progression of deliverables.

• Offer technical guidance to less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.

• Experience in developing and architecting RESTful APIs.

• Advanced understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.

• Familiarity with non-relational databases, specifically MongoDB or equivalent technologies.

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of messaging systems and asynchronous processing.

• Understanding of Redis or other caching solutions.

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Capability to analyze technical scenarios, propose solutions, and make independent decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English (Level 3).
