This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage, set up, and sustain network environments, encompassing switches, routers, wireless networks, and firewalls.
• Engage in projects related to the expansion, migration, and modernization of network infrastructure.
• Create and uphold technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls while enforcing security policies and access controls.
• Implement and verify modifications in network environments, including cabling, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Assess and suggest enhancements to network architecture and standards.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs by prioritizing requests based on their impact and urgency.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of store openings and renovations, ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure activities align with the construction timeline.
• Collaborate with construction managers to track changes related to network and telecommunications infrastructure during renovation phases.
• Guarantee the appropriate temporary storage, preservation, and repositioning of IT and telecommunications equipment post-renovation.
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule, oversee, and validate new installations according to the scope and timeline established for each renovation project.
• Configure, install, and validate network equipment, including access points and switches.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the technology infrastructure of stores, ensuring service continuity and adherence to corporate standards.
• Monitor connectivity and conduct equipment functionality tests following reinstallation or infrastructure modifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with corporate network infrastructure.
• Proficient in Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba, and Cisco platforms, including troubleshooting capabilities.
• Intermediate knowledge of Fortinet firewalls, encompassing policies, NAT, VPN, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with corporate wireless environments, specifically Meraki and Cisco Aironet.
• Familiarity with Meraki and Aruba switches, with a strong understanding of VLANs, STP, trunking, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, OSPF routing, BGP, and others.
• Capability to perform Level 2/3 troubleshooting and identify the root cause of incidents.
• CCNA or higher certification is preferred.
• Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring tools is preferred.
• Understanding of network automation, including basic scripts and APIs, is preferred.
• Experience working in critical network environments is preferred.
