Mid-Level Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop dependable and scalable product solutions for equity management.

• Collaborate with skilled engineers, product managers, and designers to transform intricate equity workflows into straightforward, automated, user-friendly software.

• Take charge of well-defined projects and engage across the technology stack.

• Contribute to teams focusing on core equity transaction logic, workflows and automation, reporting, or tax functionalities.

• Establish the development environment and assist with small, well-defined modifications during onboarding.

• Deliver product features and enhancements with progressively increasing autonomy.

• Analyze problems, comprehend trade-offs, and provide reliable solutions.

• Engage in code reviews and team discussions.

• Oversee medium-sized features from implementation to release.

• Work in partnership with Product and Design teams to create practical, user-focused solutions.

• Engage in technical discussions regarding data models, workflows, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proficient in building and launching production-quality features across the technology stack.

• Enjoy the challenge of learning complex domains and simplifying them into maintainable product experiences.

• Value clean, tested, and readable code along with collaborative teamwork.

• Have a curiosity about equity, financial workflows, and their tangible effects on businesses and employees.

• Eager to enhance technical judgment through code reviews, pair programming, and architecture discussions.

• Take initiative in your work while seeking input early when trade-offs are ambiguous.

• Experience or a willingness to work with TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB, Temporal, GCP, Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions; specific proficiency in the stack is not mandatory.

• Candidates based in London are required to work in the office 2 days per week.

• Candidates based in Zurich are required to work in the office 2 days per week.
