Mid-Level Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop dependable and scalable product experiences that assist companies in managing equity.

• Collaborate closely with seasoned engineers, product managers, and designers.

• Simplify complex equity workflows into clear, automated, and user-friendly software solutions.

• Take responsibility for well-defined projects and contribute throughout the technology stack.

• Participate in the Core Equity, Workflows & Automation, Reporting, or Tax teams.

• Oversee transaction logic, data models, and core domain behavior related to equity management.

• Automate equity workflows and integrate them with third-party services.

• Convert equity data into financial, operational, and compliance reports.

• Develop product functionalities that support tax and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions.

• Establish the development environment and implement changes as needed.

• Release features and enhancements with growing autonomy.

• Engage in code reviews, team discussions, and technical architecture dialogues.

• Manage medium-sized features from implementation to deployment.

• Work in collaboration with Product and Design teams to create pragmatic, user-centric solutions.

• Take part in discussions regarding data models, workflows, and scalability.

• Over 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proficient in building and delivering production-quality features across the technology stack.

• Capable of grasping complex domains and translating them into simple and maintainable product experiences.

• Committed to writing clean, tested, and readable code while fostering thoughtful collaboration.

• Inquisitive about equity, financial workflows, and their tangible effects on companies and employees.

• Eager to enhance technical judgment through code reviews, collaborative programming, and architecture discussions.

• Able to take ownership while seeking input early when trade-offs are ambiguous.

• Complete a HackerRank take-home assessment.

• Participate in a live coding assessment.

• Undertake a system design assessment.

• Attend a behavioral interview using the STAR method.
