Mid-Level QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain test automation for REST APIs and microservices utilizing the Karate Framework.

• Perform performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or K6, assisting in the analysis of results.

• Aid in the configuration and upkeep of test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage in technical refinement sessions and validation of acceptance criteria.

• Assist agile teams in the proactive detection of defects and ongoing quality enhancement.

• Examine logs, investigate failures, and confirm API contracts.

• Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure quality in delivery.

• Operate with the primary technology stack: Karate, Java, and JMeter/K6.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer, particularly in API testing.

• Proficiency in API automation using the Karate Framework.

• Background in testing REST services and microservices.

• Understanding of non-functional testing methods with JMeter or K6.

• Familiarity with Git and continuous integration (CI/CD) practices.

• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL queries.

• Experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).

• Background in artificial intelligence (AI).
