Mid-Level Java Developer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain backend APIs and services using Java

• Produce clean, testable, and thoroughly documented code

• Engage in refinement sessions, sprint planning, and code reviews

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Frontend teams

• Implement integrations with both internal and external services

• Monitor and enhance application performance and security

• Contribute to the advancement of the architecture and the team’s best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (version 8 or higher) in backend development

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integration

• Proficient with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL and MySQL) and SQL

• Skilled in Git and agile development methodologies

• Understanding of automated testing (unit and/or integration tests)

• Experience with microservices and messaging systems (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments

• Knowledge of observability tools (logs, metrics, and APM)

• Prior experience with high-scale digital product teams

• Active involvement in communities, open-source projects, or tech talks
