Mid-Level Integration Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and create enterprise integrations utilizing Azure Integration Services and Java Spring Boot.

• Build RESTful APIs and microservices employing Java and Spring Boot.

• Configure and develop APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).

• Implement both synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.

• Create messaging and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, and subscriptions.

• Integrate enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, external partners, and services from Microsoft Azure.

• Execute message transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, exception handling, and retry mechanisms.

• Develop reusable integration components and services that adhere to enterprise standards.

• Implement authentication and authorization utilizing Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Managed Identities.

• Secure credentials, secrets, certificates, and connection details using Azure Key Vault.

• Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, correlation IDs, and operational telemetry.

• Create unit tests, automated API tests, and integration tests.

• Collaborate with the Integration Lead, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced/fluent English is mandatory (assessed during the interview).

• Over 5 years of experience in software development and enterprise integration.

• Strong hands-on development skills with Java and Spring Boot.

• Extensive experience with REST APIs and microservices development.

• Practical experience with Azure API Management (APIM).

• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and message processing.

• Strong understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.

• Experience with JSON, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security.

• Familiarity with implementing exception handling, retry mechanisms, dead-letter processing, logging, and monitoring.

• Experience with additional Azure Integration Services, such as Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions is a plus.

• Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise platforms is desirable.

• Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Oracle, and SQL is advantageous.

• Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Retail Energy sectors is desirable.
