Mid-Level Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the back-office dashboard, incorporating front-end interfaces and back-end integrations for Artificial Intelligence products.

• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs.

• Create functional, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for internal users and the management of operational metrics.

• Enforce access and security protocols, including authentication, RBAC-based authorization, and audit logs, adhering to Security by Design principles.

• Map, integrate, and optimize queries in relational databases for real-time data visualization and consumption.

• Maintain stability and quality through unit and integration testing, coding best practices, and version control systems.

• Investigate and resolve technical incidents occurring in production environments.

• Document technical components and integration workflows thoroughly.

• Collaborate effectively with data engineers and AI scientists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Tailwind.

• Proven track record of building RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server for database modeling, data manipulation, and query optimization.

• Proficient with Git, including Gitflow, Pull Requests, and Code Review processes.

• Experience in testing and integrating APIs using Postman.

• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, and a fundamental understanding of mitigating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Practical knowledge of Docker and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Basic understanding of event-driven or queue-based architectures, such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.

• Specialized courses, extension programs, or training in Information Security, IAM, or Cloud Computing are advantageous.

• Previous experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.

• Strong analytical abilities and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Good communication skills for effective collaboration across AI, data, and product teams.

• Excellent organizational skills for structuring and documenting development components and workflows.

• Proactive mindset with a focus on creating simple and intuitive solutions.
