Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute sophisticated cybersecurity strategies aimed at safeguarding financial and digital operations.

• Prevent, identify, and investigate instances of banking and financial fraud, particularly in cases involving Pix, TED, bank slips, and digital payments.

• Carry out Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) to identify threats, attack patterns, indicators of compromise, and suspicious activities.

• Conduct Threat Modeling and risk assessments to recognize and mitigate significant threats.

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents utilizing Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).

• Create, implement, and refine detection rules, event correlation, alerts, and automated response strategies.

• Perform advanced threat analysis using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.

• Lead or participate in responses to intricate security incidents, from investigation to defining and executing containment and mitigation strategies.

• Evaluate vulnerabilities, risks, and security controls, recommending technical and architectural enhancements.

• Engage in security testing, penetration testing, and specialized technical audits.

• Design and implement advanced security controls while considering system availability, integrity, confidentiality, and resilience.

• Define and refine security policies, standards, procedures, and controls in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee and manage security tools and technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, and EDR.

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business and security challenges, propose solutions, and lead technical discussions.

• Generate technical documentation, reports, risk analyses, and security recommendations.

• Act as a technical authority in cybersecurity, supporting internal teams and sharing knowledge.

• Contribute to training, promote best practices, and advance the security maturity of the environment.

• Take proactive measures in critical situations, demonstrating analytical skills, prioritization, and technical decision-making abilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive cybersecurity experience in roles such as Senior/Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, Cybersecurity Consultant, or Cybersecurity Specialist.

• Practical experience in fintech, banking, payments, or environments involving highly critical financial operations.

• Background in banking and digital fraud prevention and detection.

• Familiarity with fraud scenarios related to Pix, TED, bank slips, and digital payments.

• Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and threat analysis.

• Expertise in Threat Modeling and risk analysis.

• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

• Proficiency with SIEM/SOAR tools, preferably Microsoft Sentinel.

• Knowledge of security monitoring, investigation, and incident response protocols.

• Understanding of security controls, vulnerabilities, security testing, and technical audits.

• Ability to analyze complex issues, identify risks, and propose technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
