Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the foundational services, APIs, and integrations for AI-driven prototypes and MVPs.

• Collaborate closely with the team leader, front-end developer, and UX designer to transform business hypotheses into solid, testable solutions.

• Design, create, and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services utilizing Node.js and/or Python.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, focusing on error handling and observability.

• Integrate SQL/NoSQL databases, message queues, and third-party APIs.

• Facilitate front-end integration by ensuring APIs are well-documented, stable, and user-friendly.

• Develop services that utilize LLM APIs and AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, and Vertex AI.

• Create orchestration logic for AI agents, tools, and workflows.

• Build reusable modules for managing prompts, logging, evaluation, and implementing guardrails.

• Design and deploy services on Azure, AWS, or GCP, preferably using Docker.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and lightweight infrastructure as code.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and basic performance optimization for proof of concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects.

• Engage in technical discussions, estimations, and architectural decisions.

• Assist in refining user stories and technical tasks by suggesting simplifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and/or Python.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, authentication/authorization, and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and fundamental data modeling.

• Interest or experience in integrating backend services with AI/LLM APIs and agent frameworks.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative projects with incomplete information and shifting priorities.

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, or serverless functions.

• Exposure to AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, semantic search, and vector databases.

• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization for distributed systems.

• Knowledge of security best practices for APIs, secrets management, and data privacy.
