Mid-Level Frontend Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create websites according to the technical and functional specifications provided by clients.

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing websites.

• Utilize source control tools like GitLab for versioning and releasing code.

• Conduct website testing across various browsers to identify technical issues.

• Collaborate with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple web applications.

• Participate in daily meetings to update on the progress of assigned tasks.

• Attend biweekly meetings for project planning and any additional meetings as required.

• Complete tasks and deliver projects punctually and to the highest quality standards.

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the usability and functionality of applications.

• Work closely within a collaborative, autonomous, and cross-functional engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Frontend Web Developer.

• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and its core principles, with proven experience in architecting complex applications.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions using popular React.js workflows, such as Redux, Flux, or MobX.

• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Mastery of modern frontend build pipelines and tools, including Webpack.

• Proven experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Advanced understanding of version control systems like Git and code collaboration tools such as GitHub.

• Experience in leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers.

• Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility and responsive design techniques.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Candidates must be located in Portugal or Brazil.
