Mid-Level Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee dependable data pipelines for the purposes of data ingestion, collection, processing, integration, storage, and delivery.

• Engage with distributed systems architectures to facilitate the parallel processing of substantial data volumes (MPP).

• Integrate various heterogeneous data sources.

• Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to create data-driven solutions that generate value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in ingesting, integrating, processing, and storing large datasets.

• Familiarity with Big Data projects.

• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Proficient in data extraction using Python and data processing with PySpark.

• Experience with ETL tools.

• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling (Data Warehouse).

• Proficient in SQL databases.

• Experience with Big Data tools on AWS, such as EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, S3, Glue, and Elasticsearch.

• Knowledge of Kafka.

• Familiarity with Data Lakes and DataOps.

• AWS certifications are preferred.

• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation is advantageous.
