Mid-Level Backend Developer, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Full-Stack Developer consultant with an emphasis on backend development.

• Enhance and support the customer’s Authenticated Experience.

• Create and maintain Java services within a microservices architecture.

• Build Full-Stack solutions utilizing React, Spring Boot, Node.js, and MEAN/MERN stacks.

• Develop and consume APIs while implementing SOA patterns.

• Configure and manage API Gateways and API Management platforms, specifically Apigee and Kong.

• Implement proxy configurations, API Products, Target Servers, Shared Flows, KVMs, and mTLS in Apigee.

• Set up routes, services, plugins, rate limiting, authentication, and DB-less mode in Kong API Gateway.

• Work with both NoSQL and relational data storage systems.

• Implement streaming and messaging services using Amazon SQS and Amazon Kinesis.

• Create automated tests and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.

• Utilize secure development practices, web application security measures, and DevSecOps.

• Employ branching strategies, version control, DevOps methodologies, and Jenkins.

• Monitor applications and conduct logging activities.

• Leverage AWS services such as CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, API Gateway, Lambda, and ECS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English is mandatory and will be evaluated during the interview process.

• Extensive experience and/or expertise across various technical domains, particularly in API Gateway and API Management.

• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with distributed systems, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and design methodologies.

• Experience in developing Java services using Spring CLI, Maven, and microservices architecture.

• Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing concepts.

• Experience with React, Spring Boot, and Node.js frameworks.

• Background in Full-Stack development and expertise in MEAN and MERN stacks.

• Knowledge of NoSQL and relational data structures.

• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.

• Familiarity with BPM tools.

• Experience with Amazon SQS and Amazon Kinesis services.

• Proficient in consuming and developing APIs.

• Knowledge of SOA, APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, and MySQL.

• Experience with Apigee, including proxies, API Products, Target Servers, Shared Flows, KVMs, and mTLS.

• Experience with Kong API Gateway, including routes, services, plugins, rate limiting, authentication, declarative configuration, and DB-less mode.

• Familiarity with unit, interface, end-user, functional, and non-functional testing methodologies.

• Experience in automated testing practices.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and requirements.

• Understanding of secure coding principles, web application security, and DevSecOps practices.

• Proficiency in authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, JWT, SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0.

• Knowledge of branching strategies and version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, or Subversion.

• Experience with DevOps practices and Jenkins.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging techniques.

• Proficient in AWS services, including CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, API Gateway, Lambda, and ECS.

• Experience developing on AWS is advantageous.

• Knowledge of architectural patterns and Design Thinking is a plus.

• Experience in the financial services and/or insurance sectors is a benefit, but not essential.
