Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide legal services to the firm's clients across various matters.

• Analyze documents and prepare pleadings along with other legal filings.

• Support negotiations and devise strategies to optimize case outcomes while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to relevant legal standards, contributing to the achievement of defined goals and maintaining legal certainty.

• Act as a negotiator and conflict-resolution expert, facilitating effective resolutions.

• Manage multiple stages of legal proceedings, including contract analysis, drafting, and representing clients in judicial and administrative settings.

• Conduct, organize, and oversee legal advisory activities.

• Ensure that commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy practices align with applicable laws and regulations.

• Manage and oversee portfolios of judicial and administrative proceedings in collaboration with clients.

• Guide the review and formulation of pleadings and legal documents.

• Prepare litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm's proprietary system.

• Draft and implement legal instruments of varying complexity.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal analyses, and propose alternatives to support the firm's objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Minimum of six months of experience in a law firm or a corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law.

• Strong emphasis on drafting pleadings and conducting contract analysis.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Knowledge of Civil and Procedural Law.

• Proficient legal research skills.

• Competence in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Experience in case and deadline management.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Adherence to professional ethics.

• Postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous.

• Specialization in Business Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law is a plus.
