Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm’s clientele across various matters.

• Examine documents and prepare legal pleadings.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance the chances of success in cases while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and help achieve targets while maintaining legal certainty.

• Function as a negotiator and specialist in conflict resolution.

• Manage all phases of legal proceedings, from reviewing and drafting contracts to representing clients in judicial and administrative forums.

• Conduct and supervise legal advisory functions.

• Ensure that commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy practices align with relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee and manage portfolios of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Guide the review and preparation of legal pleadings and documents.

• Create case management and litigation contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and execute legal instruments of varying degrees of complexity.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal assessments, and suggest legal alternatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Minimum of six months of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong focus on legal pleading and contract evaluation.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with civil and procedural law.

• Proficient in legal research.

• Competent in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Capable of managing deadlines and cases efficiently.
