Legal Copyeditor, PCTeX Typesetter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compile monthly, quarterly, and semiannual reports of gathered legal opinions for a government agency.

• Review and edit legal documents from Federal Government regulatory agencies for accuracy and clarity.

• Utilize legal citations from Federal Government regulatory agencies, following The Bluebook citation system.

• Organize and index legal documents for Federal Government regulatory agencies.

• Format and typeset documents using PCTeX or similar software.

• Ensure compliance with Section 508 requirements in all documents.

• Operate within stringent production timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in copyediting and proofreading legal documents for Federal Government regulatory agencies.

• In-depth experience with legal citations from Federal Government regulatory agencies.

• Expert-level understanding of The Bluebook legal citation format.

• Extensive experience in indexing legal documents for Federal Government regulatory agencies.

• Proven experience with PCTeX or comparable software.

• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards.

• Strong expertise in legal editing, indexing, document formatting, and typesetting.

• Candidates must successfully pass a background screening before employment.
