Legal Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Interact with current and potential customers to pinpoint workflow difficulties and showcase Harvey’s AI solutions.

• Counsel law firms and legal teams on strategies for adoption, change management, and the integration of Harvey into everyday workflows and firm-wide operations.

• Conduct customized product demonstrations for practice groups within law firms and in-house legal teams.

• Recognize and prioritize opportunities to create impactful results across legal teams.

• Collaborate with marketing to produce content tailored to the specific practice areas of lawyers and their clientele.

• Incorporate legal insights and user feedback into sales strategies, product development, and market entry planning.

• Provide insights on competitive and market trends within the LATAM legal and legal tech sectors.

• Enhance Harvey’s standing in LATAM as a leading AI partner for the legal sector.

• Develop consultative relationships with partners, associates, and in-house counsel at law firms.

• Guide customers in reimagining their research, drafting, diligence, and compliance workflows through AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residing in Mexico City and authorized to work in Mexico.

• Valid Mexican practicing certificate (or an equivalent civil-law qualification).

• Over 3 years of experience as a qualified lawyer at a prestigious firm or within a major corporate or financial institution.

• Complete professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• Profound understanding of LATAM legal workflows, with a focus on corporate, regulatory, or dispute matters.

• Strong executive engagement skills and presence.

• Exceptional presentation capabilities for legal and executive audiences.

• An inquisitive mindset regarding the potential of AI to revolutionize the legal field.

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is advantageous.

• Background in law firm business development and/or secondment is a plus.

• Direct experience managing law firm client matters and relationships is an added advantage.
