Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm’s clientele across various issues.

• Examine documents and create legal pleadings.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance the probability of success while reducing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and contribute to the achievement of set goals, maintaining legal certainty.

• Function as a negotiator and expert in dispute resolution, guaranteeing effective outcomes.

• Manage different phases of legal proceedings, from contract review and drafting to representing clients in judicial and administrative matters.

• Execute, organize, and supervise legal advisory functions.

• Confirm that commercial transactions, contracts, and privacy practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Direct the review and formulation of legal documents and pleadings.

• Generate litigation and legal contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and implement legal instruments of various complexities.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal analyses, and propose legal alternatives to further the firm’s objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Current registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous.

• Specialization in Business Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or a corporate legal environment.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong emphasis on drafting legal pleadings and reviewing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and dispute resolution.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Knowledge of civil and procedural law.

• Experience in legal research.

• Proficient in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Capable of managing cases and deadlines.

• Commitment to professional ethics.

• Fixed monthly salary of BRL 4,000.00 for the initial three months.
