Legal Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform legal research and summarize insights on regulatory matters, contracts, and case law.

• Aid in the drafting, reviewing, and organizing of contracts, policies, and memoranda.

• Assist in compliance initiatives by monitoring regulatory updates and internal policy changes.

• Engage in meetings and prepare documentation for legal proceedings or internal assessments.

• Manage legal files and databases, ensuring both accuracy and confidentiality.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on legal components of business operations.

• Contribute to special projects concerning corporate governance, risk management, or intellectual property.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) or an equivalent legal degree.

• Strong skills in research, writing, and analysis.

• High degree of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis is advantageous.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Interest in corporate law, compliance, or regulatory matters.

• Availability for a 40-hour work week during the 10-week internship period.

• Currently enrolled in a related business degree program.

• Must have a sophomore classification or higher.

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

• At least one year of work experience or comparable military experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.
