Legal Supervisor – Civil Litigation and Consumer Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and lead the legal team within the consumer law division, ensuring organization and adherence to procedural timelines.

• Distribute and manage tasks to maintain an equitable workload among team members.

• Assess and evaluate the quality of technical work, providing continuous feedback and mentorship.

• Create management reports and track team and case performance metrics.

• Assist in developing strategies for civil and consumer litigation cases.

• Act as a bridge between the team and the partners, promoting alignment and efficient communication.

• Review legal documents and outline case strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Extensive experience in civil and consumer litigation.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Familiarity with legal management software and electronic court systems (PJe, e-SAJ, PROJUDI, etc.).

• Experience in team leadership.

• Strong knowledge of procedural law and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in managing performance metrics.

• Excellent organizational skills, effective and assertive communication, analytical thinking, and a results-driven approach.

• A resilient and dynamic character.

• Ability to work with agility and a strong sense of urgency.

• Proactive and independent decision-making skills.

• Flexibility in handling competing demands and priorities.

• Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.

• Additional certifications or training in people management, leadership, or legal process management are advantageous.
