Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm's clientele across various issues.

• Review documents and compose legal pleadings.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance case results while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and contribute to achieving targets while upholding legal certainty.

• Serve as a negotiator and expert in conflict resolution.

• Manage different phases of legal proceedings, including contract analysis, drafting, and representing clients in judicial and administrative settings.

• Conduct, organize, and supervise legal advisory functions.

• Guarantee that commercial transactions, contracts, and privacy practices are in line with relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Advise on the review and preparation of legal pleadings and documents.

• Generate litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm's proprietary system.

• Draft and finalize legal documents of various complexities.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal diagnostics, and propose legal alternatives to support the firm's objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate credentials in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong emphasis on drafting legal pleadings and analyzing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of civil and procedural law.

• Proficient in legal research.

• Competent in legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Ability to manage deadlines and cases efficiently.
