Mid DevOps Engineer – B2B

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, focusing on node health, networking, and application deployments.

• Provision and sustain infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

• Develop and enhance Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows.

• Analyze incidents utilizing logs, metrics, and health checks.

• Implement safe modifications with validation and rollback strategies.

• Ensure secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries.

• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and enhance system stability and performance.

• Assist in scaling and refining infrastructure that supports large-scale distributed workloads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in managing Kubernetes workloads.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux servers, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure management using Terraform and Ansible.

• Experience in reviewing infrastructure plans and overseeing changes across different environments.

• Proficient in Helm, Git-based delivery systems, and Docker container build pipelines.

• Ability to confidently write Bash and Python scripts.

• Familiarity with GCP, especially GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager.

• Security-aware mindset regarding credentials and access permissions.

• Strong communication skills during code reviews and incident management.

• Capability to investigate unfamiliar systems and articulate technical trade-offs.

• Experience with large-scale, multi-cluster systems is a plus.

• Background in web-scraping environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with Cloudflare, HAProxy, ArgoCD, Linkerd, Redis, PostgreSQL, Datadog, or VictoriaMetrics is a plus.

• Knowledge of Python, NodeJS, Rust, or Go is a plus.
