Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage operations across various GameFabric environments

• Maintain and oversee over 50 Kubernetes clusters along with a central observability stack

• Work collaboratively with developers to design scalable solutions from the initial stage to deployment

• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks utilizing Terraform, Ansible, FluxCD, and custom Kubernetes operators

• Enhance and fine-tune the core technology stack within both cloud and bare-metal settings

• Join the team on-call rotation following the onboarding process

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, vocational training in IT, or equivalent relevant experience

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux and essential system debugging/troubleshooting skills

• Practical experience in operating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in a production environment

• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible

• Proficient programming skills in Go, Python, or shell scripting

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Experience with Go or developing Kubernetes Controllers/Operators is highly advantageous

• Enthusiasm for automation and a drive to eliminate repetitive tasks

• Ability to clearly convey complex technical topics and collaborate effectively
