Microsoft Intune Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the multi-platform endpoint ecosystem for the HUD contract.

• Design, implement, and manage devices running Windows, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS.

• Supervise multi-platform device lifecycle processes utilizing Windows Autopilot, Apple Automated Device Enrollment via Apple Business Manager, iOS/iPadOS enrollment payloads, and Bash shell scripts.

• Create and utilize PowerShell and Remediation scripts for customized settings and elevated controls.

• Package, test, and launch Win32, line-of-business, licensing, Windows, macOS, and mobile applications.

• Implement Conditional Access policies, App Protection Policies (MAM), and Compliance Policies associated with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Manage disk encryption standards via BitLocker for Windows and FileVault for macOS.

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for technical issues related to endpoints.

• Monitor tenant health, device compliance failures, synchronization errors, and security vulnerabilities.

• Promptly remediate non-compliant assets.

• Maintain technical documentation, enrollment guides, and self-service instructions for end-users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in system administration (or equivalent experience).

• 3–5+ years of experience in Enterprise Endpoint Management.

• At least 2+ years focused on Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.

• Practical experience in integrating Apple Business Manager (ABM) with Intune.

• Familiarity with VPP app management.

• Experience managing FileVault.

• Proficient in running Bash scripts on macOS.

• JAMF knowledge is preferred.

• Experience with Windows Autopilot, BitLocker, PowerShell scripting, Win32 app packaging using the IntuneWin App Prep Tool, and AD/Entra ID integration.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, Endpoint Security baselines, MAM without enrollment, and Company Portal deployment.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a HUD Public Trust clearance.
