Financial Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Configure, develop, and maintain Coupa for Procurement, Invoicing, and Expense, in addition to Skilljar and Egencia.

• Lead quality assurance and comprehensive testing for system upgrades and internal implementations.

• Create and execute test scripts to ensure system stability prior to deployment.

• Construct and modify approval chains, custom fields, forms, and workflow rules.

• Facilitate integrations between Coupa and core financial systems, such as NetSuite, through APIs, flat files, and cXML.

• Monitor and assist with integrations involving Egencia and Skilljar.

• Manage and resolve production support issues, escalating complex incidents as necessary.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, QA plans, integration data maps, and support procedures.

• Collaborate with teams in Procurement, Finance, HR, Education Services, and IT.

• Ensure that configurations adhere to SOX regulations, information security, and other regulatory standards.

• Complete onboarding, training, shadowing, and gradually take on responsibilities for support, configuration, testing, and enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience with financial or business systems (SaaS platforms), with direct experience in configuring or supporting Coupa being a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with or experience in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Skilljar) or Travel Management platforms (e.g., Egencia) is beneficial.

• Basic understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Expense Management processes.

• Familiarity with systems integration concepts (APIs, flat-file transfers, cXML, SCIM Provisioning) and basic scripting is highly desirable.

• Experience in executing QA testing, developing test scripts, and managing sandbox environments.

• Strong knowledge of IT compliance frameworks (SOX, Information Security) as they pertain to financial systems.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
