Microsoft 365 Systems – IT Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including user provisioning and deprovisioning, RBAC assignments, MFA configuration, and Conditional Access policies.

• Configure and maintain device compliance, application deployments, baseline security configurations, and patch management across laptops utilizing Microsoft Intune.

• Monitor security telemetry, review alerts, and assist with basic log collection and incident response in Microsoft Sentinel.

• Oversee Microsoft 365 licensing allocations and manage account lifecycle requests.

• Coordinate technical requirements with external IT partners.

• Optionally provide assistance or minor enhancements for internal workflows, forms, or team sites developed on SharePoint and PowerApps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must meet the qualifications necessary to obtain a security clearance, with potential for future advancement into a cleared role.

• Direct experience in administering Microsoft Entra ID and managing cloud identities.

• Hands-on expertise in utilizing Microsoft Intune for cloud endpoint management and policy enforcement.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring security events and triaging alerts.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant administration and partner-assisted IT operating models.

• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and document configurations in a remote environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with internal personnel and external technical vendors.

• Familiarity with creating basic applications or automation in PowerApps / Power Automate is preferred.

• Experience in supporting SharePoint Online site structure and permissions models is preferred.
