This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and steer the strategic direction for designated product categories to enhance sales growth, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction across partner networks.
• Function as the subject matter expert for assigned categories, with a focus on performance metrics.
• Evaluate market trends, customer behavior, and competitor performance to shape category strategy.
• Develop a comprehensive promotional strategy backed by IME, retailers, manufacturers, and providers to increase market share.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and implement enhancements within categories.
• Serve as the main contact point for manufacturers and large enterprise partners.
• Facilitate alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Sustain vendor and manufacturer relationships, managing daily interactions while negotiating long-term strategies and agreements.
• Offer strategic insights regarding partner and category performance.
• Ensure accurate and consistent category information across both partner-facing and consumer-facing platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to shape promotional strategies, visual merchandising, and creative campaigns.
• Participate in supplier evaluations, compliance tracking, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Attend trade shows, factory visits, and customer-oriented events to maintain category expertise and discover new business opportunities.
• Work in conjunction with Compliance, Licensing, Central Processing, Business Development, and Customer Solutions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Flooring home improvement categories.
• In-depth understanding of product lines, installation processes, and vendor/contractor coordination within flooring home improvement categories.
• At least 3 years of retail experience.
• Professional demeanor is required.
• Strong judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to interact effectively with all organizational levels, including executive and C-level personnel.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining efficiency and keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing or multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the home improvement industry.
