Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Adhere to the scheduled itinerary of visits as outlined in the work plan.

• Provide daily proof of store visits and record entry and exit using the DATA PROM application.

• Handle the loading and unloading of merchandise, retrieve items from the warehouse, and restock shelves.

• Organize shelves and implement planograms, which includes maintenance, ordering, cleaning, rearranging, and ensuring product visibility.

• Place store orders using personal funds and oversee inventory management.

• Ensure alignment between system inventory and physical stock.

• Accurately communicate pricing and signage information.

• Negotiate for additional shelf space, promotional displays, and preferred locations within stores.

• Assist with promotional initiatives by positioning POP and promotional materials.

• Report on established KPIs.

• Monitor and report on competitor activities, such as promotions, new products, and stock changes.

• Address client and consumer inquiries related to the category.

• Proven experience in guiding, leading, and motivating a team.

• Background in conducting on-site negotiations and executing planograms.

• Experience in developing and managing points of sale.

• Strong understanding of trade structure and sales-force management.

• In-depth knowledge of local trade dynamics, customers, and competitors.
