Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Adhere to the scheduled visits as outlined in the work plan.

• Ensure the daily submission of documentation for stores visited, along with entry and exit logs through the DATA PROM application.

• Handle the loading and unloading of merchandise, as well as moving items from the warehouse to restock shelves.

• Organize shelves and implement planograms, which includes maintenance, ordering, cleaning, rearranging, and ensuring product visibility.

• Place store orders from the designated cedis to the stores and oversee inventory management.

• Verify that the system inventory aligns with the physical stock.

• Accurately communicate pricing and signage information.

• Negotiate for additional shelf space, promotional displays, and preferred placements within stores.

• Assist in promotional activities by distributing POP and promotional materials.

• Report on predetermined KPIs and monitor competitor actions.

• Address client inquiries and act as a sales representative to consumers regarding the product category.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree is required.

• A minimum of 8 years in managerial roles across various sales functions is essential.

• Proven experience in guiding, leading, and motivating a team.

• Background in managing annual negotiations and the preparation and execution of distributor contracts.

• Experience in leading and developing national key accounts.

• Proficiency in English is necessary.

• Strong understanding of trade structures and sales force management.

• General knowledge of processes and principles related to P&L statements and financial key metrics.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the local trade, customers, and competitors.
