Mentor, AI-Assisted Software Development – Working Student

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist a dedicated group of participants by providing active guidance throughout the course.

• Instruct on AI-assisted development utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.

• Clarify concepts related to prompting, code generation, and the thorough evaluation of AI-generated output.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one mentoring sessions.

• Evaluate code and offer constructive critiques on submitted assignments.

• Keep detailed records of progress and session content.

• Provide insights on learning materials and contribute to the curriculum development.

• Engage in weekly discussions with mentors and experts regarding participants and course material.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be a student enrolled for at least one additional year.

• You should have an average availability of 15–20 hours per week.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are essential.

• Comfort with using Git and GitHub is required.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude while coding, including an understanding of their appropriate applications, is necessary.

• Fluency in German is a must.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are important.

• You are encouraged to include one or two projects or GitHub links with your application to showcase your skills.
