Mental Health Therapist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and collaboratively create evidence-based treatment strategies

• Deliver individual therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms

• Assist members facing mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues

• Flexibly support members dealing with substance use disorders as necessary

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record system

• Coordinate care as required and contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary atmosphere

• Engage in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations

• Comply with HIPAA and relevant state licensure regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a current license in Iowa as an LISW, LMFT, or LMHC

• Possess an active and verifiable Iowa license, as well as a valid license in the state of residence if not Iowa

• Credentials should be verifiable through the State Board’s website

• Experience in providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environments

• Excellent communication and clinical skills with a focus on a person-centered, trauma-informed methodology

• Proficient with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth technologies

• Capability to work independently in a remote environment while demonstrating professionalism and integrity
