Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LISW, LMFT, LPCC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth platforms.

• Create tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's objectives and requirements.

• Handle an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the support of the care team.

• Complete documentation in the EMR utilizing AI-assisted note-taking.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy services following Sailor Health’s model.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff.

• Assist older adults facing grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where the position is based.

• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Previous experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Medicare billing experience is advantageous.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting with a minimum of 15 hours per week.

• Availability as a W2 employee starting with a minimum of 25 hours per week.

• Expected to conduct at least 15 therapy sessions weekly with Sailor Health.
