Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LSCSW, LCMFT, LCPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly patients through telehealth platforms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the backing of a care team.

• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using AI-powered notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and support staff.

• Provide services to older adults through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is offered.

• Possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Experience working with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Medicare billing experience is an advantage.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week.

• Availability as a W2 employee starting at 25 hours per week.

• Commitment to conducting at least 15 sessions each week with Sailor Health.
