Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LMSW, LMFT, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth services.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with assistance from a care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using AI-supported notes.

• Participate in regular compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Sailor Health offers Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults.

• Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates address patients’ non-clinical needs.

• Clinical Quality Leads provide ongoing guidance, and the provider support team is available to answer queries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is based.

• Holding a master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Preferred experience with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Medicare billing experience is advantageous.

• Must be willing to conduct at least 15 sessions weekly with Sailor Health.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week or as a W2 employee starting at 25 hours per week.

• Must possess at least one active, unrestricted license that permits independent practice without clinical supervision.
