Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LISW, LMFT, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly patients through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific goals and needs of each patient.

• Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with backing from a care team.

• Complete necessary documentation in the EMR, utilizing AI-assisted note-taking.

• Participate in regular paid case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide support to older adults through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Possess an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is advertised.

• Hold a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Must be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Availability to conduct at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• 1099 contractor must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week; W2 employee must be available for at least 25 hours per week.
