Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy services to older adults through telehealth.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with backing from a supportive care team.

• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide therapy within Sailor Health’s Medicare-covered mental health care framework.

• Assist older adults in navigating grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or similar) in the state where this position is advertised.

• Possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Previous experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Minimum commitment of at least 15 sessions weekly.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week or as a W2 employee starting at 25 hours per week.

• Capability to practice autonomously without clinical supervision.
