Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LICSW, LMFT, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth services.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's individual goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the backing of a care team.

• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using AI-enhanced notes.

• Engage in regular paid case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Conduct therapy within Sailor Health’s extensive virtual practice across the nation.

• Concentrate on clinical responsibilities while Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates manage patients’ non-clinical needs.

• Collaborate with Clinical Quality Leads and provider support personnel.

• Offer Medicare-covered therapy to assist older adults dealing with grief, loss, isolation, and life transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, independent clinical license in Alabama: LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or an equivalent credential.

• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Preference for candidates with experience working with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Candidates must be willing to provide at least 15 sessions per week with Sailor Health.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week, or as a W2 employee starting at 25 hours per week.

• Capability to practice independently without clinical supervision is necessary.

• W2 employment requires a commitment of 25+ hours per week.
